Recreation PoolList Item 1
Our 300,000-gallon recreation pool is a flow-thru pool fed by our hot springs. This pool was built in 1929 and was dug with horses and wagons. They installed gas lanterns when it was first opened. It is emptied and cleaned at least once a week. Water flows through and does not enter back into the pool. During the summer, a cold water well supplies some colder water to help keep the temperature not so hot, and a spray from our water cannon helps refresh our swimmers. We have three slides in our recreation pool to accommodate all ages. The hot water flows through our decks during the winter, keeping ice cleared. Our slides do not run during freezing temperatures, but we put up a volleyball in the winter for family fun. The Recreation Pool is chlorinated.
-
Hot Soaking PoolsList Item 2
Our hot soaking pools are fed by our hot springs and flow-thru constantly to keep the water temperature warm. We clean with chlorine, but these pools are unchlorinated mineral water for soaking when they are open. No swimming or splashing is permitted in the pools. Enjoy a relaxing time with our changing lights, creating ambiance during the winter months. No Food or drinks of any kind are allowed in the hot pools. Purchasing water bottles from our reception desk is allowed. The temperatures range from 99 degrees up to 102 degrees. Temperature varies with air temperature.

SaunaList Item 4
Our sauna is partially heated with hot spring water but also has a heater to boost the temperature inside. Water can be added to the rock heater to create steam. Only adults with a signed release form are allowed in the sauna.

Water Playground
Our water playground is only open during the summer season. Our naturally hot water is fed through the water features. The water playground was built in 2002 and is not a pool but a cement pad. Water is warm as it sprays from each attraction, making it a great place to play in the water.
