The best time to stargaze in Idaho is during a new moon123. The bright moon further illuminates the sky, making the stars seem even brighter. The season for stargazing in Idaho ranges from February to November, with July being the best month to see the Milky Way2.

Fireflies come out in June in our marshland.  Our Firefly Festival runs the 2nd and 3rd weekend of June.  Buy tickets from our store.  Enjoy a concert with Wood Live Band, roast S'Mores, purchase some lemonade in a lighted cup, and enjoy an evening under the stars.   The event will be located in our Memory Park.  Tickets required.
